Pharma Ramps Up Google Ad Spend on Psychedelic Keywords

Large pharmaceutical companies appear to be ramping up U.S. Google ad spend targeting psychedelics-related keywords, with the most common ads pointing to Johnson & Johnson’s Spravato webpage.

Searching for more generic terms like “psychedelic” returns results from J&J as well as at-home ketamine providers like Mindbloom and BetterU.

There are also more narrowly-targeted ads, with search terms like “COMP360” and “DT120”, which are late-stage psychedelic drug candidates sponsored by Compass Pathways and Definium Therapeutics, respectively, also returning ads for Spravato along with ads for products like Rexulti (Otsuka’s brexpiprazole product) and ...
