Compass Closes Out Phase 3 With 6-Month COMP006 Data, Eyes H1’27 Launch

This morning, Compass Pathways shared 26-week data from its second Phase 3 study of COMP360 psilocybin for treatment-resistant depression (TRD).
The data are from Part B of COMP006, the company’s larger (n=581) Phase 3 trial that initially assessed two doses of either 1 mg, 10 mg, or 25 mg of psilocybin 3 weeks apart. The primary endpoint was met, Compass shared in February, when it reported a -3.8 point difference on the MADRS at week 6 between the 25 and 1 mg groups.
Today’s data represents topline results from weeks 9-26, which the company says were blinded. There was an option for retreatment during that period, with participants eligible to receive the same dose as in Part A. Participants were permitted to commence an oral antidepressant in Part B...
