‘Move Fast, with Precision’: Notes from ARPA-H’s Ibogaine Workshop
On Tuesday, the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) held a day-long gathering related to its ibogaine funding opportunity, dubbed Accelerating Safe Clinical Evaluation of Novel Treatments: Ibogaine for Better Outcomes in Opioid Use Disorder (ASCENT-IBO, for short).
That opportunity is outlined in a Special Notice issued by the agency, with proposals due October 15th. ARPA-H expects projects to outline clinical studies of ibogaine, ideally a combined Phase I/II design, as well as future development plans.
